If you've noodled around on the website recently you'll have noticed that things have been changing around here.
(I know the blog is new, but this sweet little space on mine on the internet has been here for a little while!)
I'm so lucky to have had the chance to work with a lovely local branding and marketing company to redesign my whole brand!
Kathryn at Swank Creative is such a gem, and I highly recommend working with her and her team if you get the chance.

I'm so in love with every single detail and I feel like it all represents what I want to be offering into the world going forward!
A little backstory on the name:
I am the magpie. I will always get distracted by a shiny thing and I always have. Plus since I write as Maggie, the moniker feels cute and right. I am also the spark (so are you, babe) the glittery, fluttery magic of creative inspiration is alive in me (and you!) and it's the value that I lean into in my life and business. Since having my jewellery line for the last twenty years I wanted to honor that life as I shift into a second career as a writer, but don't want to feel pulled in opposing directions. So my hope, is that bringing them together under one banner, as a body of work, will allow me to feel like I am creating something bigger. But with two branches. Like a multidisciplinary artist. Or a two headed serpent.
Growing into my artistry as it were.
I can't wait to share more of the new work and designs I've been working on lately.
I've got a couple of big events coming up that I'm building inventory for, and a new book release on the horizon as well! It's been a busy few months here at HQ and I'm over the moon in love with everything that is happening and brewing behind the scenes.
